Next month will see the live comeback of 60’s hard rock veterans Deep Purple who are finally travelling through Europe after a long hiatus. Eight of the concerts will take place in Germany. The band is celebrating its 50th anniversary of existence this year – and they have invited selected guests: Not only is the Canadian hard and southern rock band Monster Truck coming along for several dates, but also our guys of SIENA ROOT. The committed advocates of analogue sound are supporting Deep Purple within their own tour on two occasions: on June 7 at the Westfalenhalle, Dortmund and at the Mercedes-Benz arena in Berlin on June 13.
On the first day of their own European tour leading them through 26 locations and five countries, the Swedes will be playing on the same bill as the Blues Pills. Then, on the second day, they will be able to proof how trained a live band they really are: SIENA ROOT will rock the audience of the Westfalenhalle, the former home of unforgettable Rockpalast concerts and a classic venue that has witnessed the best of rock over the years.
Like the rock veterans, SIENA ROOT are bringing a new album with them in their travel bag. It is titled “A Dream Of Lasting Peace” and will be available from May 26, 2017 on.
