MIG Distribution News: New music from Black As Chalk and A Kew’s Tag on Magic Mile Music

Black as Chalk release music video for their Single Snake Handler.

New album Ouro by the band from Göttingen to be released September 14th 2018.

For this, the Band produced a video with filmmakers EneMeneMovie from Göttingen, in which Florian Donath from Deutsches Theater Göttingen plays the leading role. From this emerged a captivating music video where the protagonist flees through a kafkaesque office maze from ‒ literally ‒ faceless colleagues.

A sad goodbye leaving music in our hearts

With sadness we have heard of Liam O’Flynn’s death. We address all our condolences to Liam’s family and dear friends. Liam was a founding member of the influental Irish folk music band PLANXTY with Christy Moore, Andy Irvine and Donal Lunny. The release of a previously unreleased concert of PLANXTY brings us further into the realm of Irish folk. Their influence on the development of contemporary Irish music is still huge.
