SIENA ROOT are signing with MIG Music

The Swedish band SIENA ROOT has signed a worldwide record contract with  M.I.G. Made In Germany Music in Hanover. “A Dream Of Lasting Peace” is the sixth studio album of the Swedish retro rock pioneers and is already scheduled for release end of April this year. Champion Jack Dupree – New Rockpalast live DVD commemorating the 25th anniversary of his death

On January 21, 2017, it has been 25 years since the great barrelhouse blues pianist and singer Champion Jack Dupree died. Dupree who was born in New Orleans was one of the very first blues musicians to cross the Atlantic in 1959 to escape a life of segregation and racism still prevailing in the United States at that time.

Bringing together two of the planet’s most virtuosic and innovative percussionists, on February 1, 2017 in Glasgow, the Celtic Connections festival presents the world première of  Trilok Gurtu’s and Evelyn Glennie’s first collaborative creation, “The Rhythm in Me”, to celebrate the 70th anniversary of India’s independence in 2017.

ZAINE GRIFF – New artist, new release “The Visitor”

On January 27, 2017 Mig Music releases the second album by singer/songwriter ZAINE GRIFF titled “The Visitor”. The album “Child Who Wants The Moon” marked the beginning of this collaboration. On December 16, 2016, just in time for Christmas, MIG Music is releasing the album “Heading North 53°N 8°E – Live in Bremen” by THE BEAT FARMERS. Their rather peculiar mix of rock’n’roll, rockabilly, Americana, blues, folk- and country elements was called cowpunk.
